Exclusive British Handmade Teddy Boucle Bed with a Curved Wave Headboard
The Selah is a British Furniture Shop exclusive: a teddy boucle bed with a sculptural curved wave headboard that you will not find anywhere else. The asymmetric arched headboard rises high on one side and sweeps down in a soft, flowing wave to a rounded shoulder on the other, making it the statement piece of any bedroom.
Below it, a plump, rounded upholstered base wraps around the mattress with no sharp corners, giving the whole bed a soft, cloud like silhouette. Shown here in cosy boucle teddy, it brings warmth and texture to modern, Scandi and Japandi bedrooms alike.
Handmade in Britain
Every Selah bed is handcrafted to order by skilled British upholsterers around a solid frame, so it is built for long term durability. Because it is made for you, you can choose your size, headboard height, fabric and storage.
Ottoman Storage and Underbed Drawers
Storage is optional. During customisation you can add an ottoman gas lift base, which lifts smoothly to reveal full storage beneath the mattress, or choose a divan base with ottoman storage. Prefer drawers? Add underbed side drawers on one side, or 4 drawers with 2 on each side. Ottoman and drawer storage are add-ons and are not included as standard.

Pictured in Boucle Teddy Cream, Boucle Teddy Charcoal, Chenille Cream and Coniston Almond, the Selah is available in over 75 fabrics and colours, including boucle teddy, chenille, Coniston, linen, plush velvet and crushed velvet. Order free fabric samples to see and feel your favourites at home before you buy.

Headboard Height
Headboard height can be selected during customisation on the product page. If your preferred height is not listed (26 inches to 90 inches), we can build a bespoke headboard to your height in inches or cm. Send the team a WhatsApp message to enquire and we will respond as quickly as we can.

Is the ottoman storage included with the Selah teddy bed?
No. Storage is an optional add-on. During customisation you can choose an ottoman gas lift base, a divan base with ottoman storage, underbed side drawers or 4 drawers. With None selected, the bed is supplied without storage.
Is the Selah bed made in the UK?
Yes. The Selah is exclusive to British Furniture Shop and every bed is handmade to order in Britain by skilled upholsterers, built around a solid frame for long term durability.
What headboard heights are available?
26, 30, 40, 48 and 54 inch headboards are included at no extra cost. Taller 60, 70, 80 and 90 inch headboards are available online for an additional fee. For taller headboards we strongly recommend the split headboard add-on for just £30, so your headboard arrives in 2 pieces; especially for homes with narrow doorways and hallways.
Does the Selah curved headboard bed include a mattress?
No. The Selah is supplied as the bed frame only: the upholstered base and the curved wave headboard. The mattress is sold separately, so you can pair it with your preferred mattress.
Can I order the Selah in other fabrics and colours?
Yes. The Selah is available in over 75 fabrics and colours, including boucle teddy, chenille, Coniston, linen and velvet. Order free fabric samples to compare them at home before you buy.
