Description
Brothers sharing a room need a bed that can take some rough and tumble. This blue wooden bunk bed is built on a pine and MDF frame with a durable painted finish, and the bold blue suits space, football, transport or ocean themed bedrooms.
When the time comes for separate rooms, the bunk bed detaches into two single beds, so you are not buying again. The top bunk has guardrails, the built-in ladder has rounded edges, and each bunk takes a standard UK single mattress.

Is this blue bunk bed suitable for boys who share a room?
Yes. Both bunks are full size singles, and the frame splits into two single beds if they later move into separate rooms.
What mattresses do I need?
Two UK single mattresses, 90 x 190cm. A depth of around 15cm is recommended so the guardrail stays effective.
How much space is there between the bunks?
There is 91cm between the bottom and top bunk, giving plenty of room to sit up on the lower bed.
Can I put storage under the bed?
Yes. There is 21cm of clearance under the bottom bunk for slim storage boxes.
