Description

Kids Open Coil Sprung Mattress for Bunk Beds and Kids Beds

A good bunk bed needs a mattress that fits properly, and this kids sprung mattress is made in the sizes children's beds actually use. Choose shorty, small single or single for bunk beds, cabin beds and kids single beds, or small double and double for double bunk beds, guest beds and teen rooms.

Inside is an open coil spring unit topped with foam for a medium feel, supportive enough for growing children and comfortable enough for sleepovers. At 16cm deep it has a slim profile that suits bunk beds, where the top guardrail needs to sit well above the sleeping surface.

Questions people ask about this product

Will this mattress fit a shorty bunk bed?
Yes. The Shorty size measures 75 x 175cm (2ft 6in x 5ft 9in), the standard UK shorty size, so it fits shorty bunk beds and cabin beds made for that mattress. Always check the mattress size listed for your bed frame.
How deep is this mattress and does it suit a top bunk?
It is 16cm deep, a slim profile that suits bunk beds. Always check your bunk bed's maximum mattress depth so the top of the guardrail sits well above the mattress surface.
How firm is this kids mattress?
It has a medium feel, rated 4 on the firmness scale. Open coil springs give even support and a foam filling adds comfort, a good balance for growing children.
Do I need two mattresses for a bunk bed?
Yes, one for each bunk. On our bunk bed pages you can add a matching pair in the right size with one tap, so both bunks are ready to sleep on from day one.
What sizes does this mattress come in?
Shorty 75 x 175cm, Small Single 75 x 190cm and Single 90 x 190cm at £149, plus Small Double 120 x 190cm and Double 135 x 190cm at £189.
