Within this, wingback and chesterfield designs have distinct characters: wingback headboards have a high, structured silhouette with angled side panels, while chesterfield designs feature deep button-tufting that gives a more traditional, formal feel. Boucle and teddy fabric beds bring a softer, more textural quality that suits contemporary bedroom schemes.

Wooden bed frames remain a strong choice for their durability and the warmth they bring to a room. Solid wood designs age well, resist the kind of wear that fabric can show over time, and suit everything from Scandi-inspired interiors to more rustic or traditional bedroom schemes.
